Average? and Below average

This will be a very short post.

Many of the DJ's in my local area speak very proudly about how they are priced just a little above/or below the "average" for the Syracuse area.

All those Brides & Grooms who want an average wedding raise their hands...anyone?......anyone?

Do you expect more than vanilla plain, average entertainment for your reception?

Yeah...I thought so.

If someone is so quickly willing to alter their fees based on what everyone else is doing you have to ask yourself...

Does this individual really know what they are doing?

How can they make these changes in their pricing unless they were already, in their own opinions, overpriced?

On a side note....

CNY Photo Booth, Syracuse's original photo booth rental company, can be found on the web at

http://cnyphotobooth.com

There has been some confusion. Please make certain that you are dealing with the company you want to provide you with quality photo booth services and not another company using our and/or someone else's company name.

You can tell a lot about the service you'll get from any company by the way they conduct themselves in all facets of their business. Do they answer their business phone? Do they return emails and messages? Are they using actual photos from their own events or have they copy and pasted them from sources on the web?

Some companies have even gone so far as to use names similar to their competitors in order to confuse customers and to gain an advantage in search engine rankings. What kind of ethics is a business built upon if at it's core it cannot stand on it's own merits? These companies don't stop there they straddle the line between dirty tactics and outright theft. Consider this...
I was personally told by another vendor that he was visiting google search results daily to click on his competitors paid Google Adsense ads with the hope that the extra charges would waste away their advertising budget and gain him higher positioning. I watched in disgust as he proudly demonstrated his "online marketing strategy."

Be careful and be sure you know who you are dealing with!

Yeah, about your buddy... I had to discontinue my Syracuse area photo booth ad because all of the sudden the hits SPIKED. I don't envy you having to actually share a market with that tool.
